Came back after 5 years ago, the mountain yam okonomiyaki is still delicious! Soft and moist okonomiyaki with tender fresh prawns and melt in your mouth pork belly, brushed with a thin layer of soy flavored sauce. Service was friendly and professional too. Recommended!

Wait wasn't terrible at 1130am on a Friday so automatically I was happy. They have an English menu and friendly staff. The okonimiyaki here is good, if a little heavy. You can try asking them to do light sauces which would help a lot. The cooks make it in front of you so feel free to customize as you sit there and enjoy your food or watch them cook. They accept credit card also!

Best okinomayaki I ever had! Placed very high my foodie lifetime top.

A fun Okonomiyaki place. They were busy and we had to wait a bit outside but the food came out quite fast. Only 1 item of the set we got was actually cooked on our grill, but the food was good.

Delicious Okonomiyaki. Can't go wrong. Super friendly staff.

This restaurant is claimed to be 1 star by Michelin guide.it's long line at the front door.it's better to preorder before you get the seats.there are 3 storeys but space are very limited but it worths waiting.the service is quick and effective but you have to wait about 45 minutes to 1 hour to get seats. Dining here sounds like watching the cooking performance that we sit in front of hot plate where our chef cooks okonomiyagi hot and fresh. We eat directly on hot plate.

My wife and I ate here in September 2019 and had an amazing experience. Although we had to wait to be seated because it's very popular, once we sat down it was very quick. It's really neat to watch them cook your food in front of you and to take your food right from the grill. We loved the food and also enjoyed the Sake.

I thought its taste not good in my perception. Surprisly it is very yummy and very goid experience. Definitely will go to eat again at next trip.

Great food, michelin star quality that doesnt rip you off.

They have some Michelin sign in front of their restaurant but I’m pretty sure they will lose it for the next time.

Restaurant is constantly full, but there's a quick turnover of customers so the wait is never too long. With the quality of the food served here, it's no wonder that they consistently make the Bib Gourmand list. This is definitely one of the best examples of okonomiyaki in Osaka (and by extension, Japan). Try the pancake that's cooked using yama imo (mountain yam) batter — you will not be disappointed.

They all taste the same to me. A little bit on the greasy side but the pickled radish help. Line is pretty long if you get there late or at peak hour. Overall an ok place to eat.

I was not impressed. There were 20 people waiting outside when my friend and I came and the line grew longer. We waited 20 minutes (not too bad) and the host took our order while we were waiting outside.A few more minutes of waiting inside and we got seated and then the food was served. Some was prepared in front of us, some came ready from somewhere else. The food was OK, not one of the top okonomiyaki I ate.The whole experience felt rushed and the wait and quality of good were not worth the wait.

Tastes amazing. Had to queue but since I was alone I got to go inside first. Worth the money!

So good! I'd been looking forward to eating some Okonomiyaki for my entire trip and I was definitely not disappointed! I highly recommend eating either here or, if you can't make it, some any where you can find it.

Highly rated Michelin restaurant. Very authentic. Come here if you are a fan of okonomiyaki otherwise skip it

Simple and nice. I've tasted better, but not bad at all. Great service.

I was outside queueing 20 min before the store open and there was already a ridiculously long line. Had to wait an additional 45-1hr before actually getting seated. Do note it was a monday, and the whole time while I was in the store eating, the queue grew even longer. So bare that in mind if you're planning to eat here. Once inside, it is very cozy. The chef makes your okonomiyaki in front of you. Because theres a huge line, they tend to make your order even before you're seated. I was starving so no complaints for me, but might be a bit annoying if you wanted to film the process. The food is delicious, especially since it is freshly made. The price runs around 1000-2000 per pax depending on what you're getting. Overall great experience but not a place I'm gonna want to go back again, mostly because of the insane queue. But glad I got to try it once!

The service is very bad! Visit this restaurant if you would like to experience the worse of Japanese service. The staff got our order wrong and insisted that it was correct. When the staff who served us brought us our original order, he dropped the seafood on the table and thought that we didn't noticed. He gave us an unapologetic look instead of apologising. He did however went to the kitchen and brought out new serving of seafood but very unwillingly. Not visiting this restaurant again. I would give 0 stars if possible.

Delicious pancake meals. Authentic flavour and great texture.

The food was very good.Very delicious. The stuff outside very helpful and can speak English.Inside the people who cooked professionally and nice did you have to wait for a while because there are only very few seats inside but it's well worth the wait.I don't know why other people wrote a bad review maybe they got unlucky or they're not trustworthy but my experience was five stars.

Absolutely delicious! Be ready to wait in a little bit of a line. If you are solo it’s much faster to get in.

Disappointed in how they treat guests. Guided to sit at the large table (approx for 8 people) but squeezing 6 of us into less than half the space. The remainder of the table they seat 3 people with 1 seat at the centre not used. They do not allow us to take up the unoccupied space used for 2 pitchers(at bottom left of photo) for reasons unknown, not even allowed to put bags. To top it off, they got our order wrong. Note: they do not allow additional orders at the table. Food was ok, but not worth the grief.

The most stunning ãŠå¥½ã¿ç„¼ã(okonomiyaki) prepared and cooked right in front of your eyes. The anticipation for yours to be ready is unreal, and the result surely wouldn't disappoint. While waiting, witness and enjoy the mastery cooking technique of the chefs and the timing in which he layers the ingredients. Well worth lining up for.I recommend trying small portions of different kinds.

Interesting and fun, staff are not conversationalists, food was great and the service was better than most of the reviews said.

It’s so good!! The seafood was very fresh and tender perfect combination with the flavourful sauce. I waited for nearly one hour to be seated but definitely worth it.

You'll typically have to wait in line as there are a lot of tourists and locals alike who come here to dine. They don't have a lot of seats, but can still accommodate a large crowd. The okonomiyaki here is pretty delicious and the ingredients used are fresh. I would say, however, that the service is not that great. The staff is always in a rush, which is understandable, and quite impatient. We even saw one of the staff get into an altercation with some chinese tourists. But service aside, the food was pretty good.

Still great food and service. Shame the lines are getting long. Average wait around 30mins

Great Okonomiyaki. We ordered their signature yam based okonomiyaki (#1) and the #4 (on the front page of the menu) and they did not disappoint. Prices were reasonable for their Michelin appearances, but we felt it was not Michelin worthy. Nonetheless, the best food we had in Osaka.

Nice place. Monjayaki was the star for me. Took a lot of time to fetch a table unfortunately.

Michelin BG recommend Okonomiyaki. Queue is fast, staff is very nice and understand English but beyond of that the food quality is very delicious. If you visit Dontonburi, should spend time here once.

An Osaka style Okonomiyaki Pancake restaurant in Dotonbori District. Seem popular as a long queue customers and mostly are international tourists. Hence, we joined the line. Multiple languages menus available and order was taken prior to entering the restaurant. We were seated upstairs and chef cooked in front of us. It was a good experience to view how Okonomiyaki cooked. The food wasn't fantastic, not the type of food which I can appreciate though something different.

We were there before 6 and beat the crowd. Food is good, but underestimated portion size and so wanted to get more but weren't allowed to. Whilst I understand the policy, it should be made clear on the menu or by the stag when we ordered. I guess the language barrier contributed. I without still recommend it. When we left, the queue was about 12 people long.

Delicious okonomiyaki concept store. Super popular because it was featured in Japan’s Michelin Ranking Guide from 2016-2019. Limited seating and a long queue is expected. They clearly cater for international tourists, so they can offer English, Chinese and Korean menu. Because of the small space, they are really ‘keen’ to show you to the door once finished.

Delicious okanomiyaki. I tried those also in some other places, and to be honest there were as good as the ones at Mizuno. Which makes me wonder why Mizonu is so hyped and packed. There is a line outside all day long. I would recommend everyone to try also other places.
